Recent Articles

Bernadette writes short stories, opinion pieces and creative non-fiction. In 2001, she won the Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre short story award.  Her work has appeared in Meanjin, The Age, The Conversation and many other publications.  More recently, one of her short stories received a commendation in the second round (out of three) of the NYC Midnight Short Story Competition and another reached the top twenty of the Australian Society of Authors’ Furious Fiction Competition.
